You should hear a swishing sound with your club that is created by your shaft by swiping fast through the air.

Grip your club in reverse, now it is really light.

Do short swing motions with your hands to get a feeling of hinging and unhinging your wrists.

Do this as quickly as you can, this is a Speed Drill.

Do 1-2 motions with your reverse club and then hit one drive with this quick feeling. Repeat 10 times.

In order to generate a lot of speed. Flexibility in your wrists is key.

Stand close together and only focus on your hands. You don’t want to generate any speed from your body.

First, don’t hit any balls:

Take the club back (L-Shape)

Then take a very quick swing only out of your wrists,

and finish (L-Shape)

It is important that the thumb is diagonal on your grip. A straight thumb prevents speed. Repeat this motion a couple of times and get a feeling for your wrist flexibility.

With this feeling, do 1-2 practice swings.

Then find your normal stance and hit one shot with this feeling.

Repeat this process 10 times:

1-2 quick practice swings

and then 1-2 shots with this feeling.
