Part 1 – Session 5

Skill Development: Performance under pressure

Part 1 | Long Game Training

Time: 2o Minutes

Part 2 | Putt Games

Time: 2o Minutes

Time: 6 min | Number of Balls: 6

Let’s see how close you can come to the PRO Average?

3 feet target corridor, start from 6 feet.
If you putt inside the corridor or hole the putt, you go 6 feet back to 12ft. Otherwise you stay.
6x Putts in total

How far can you get?
Every Ball has to be in the 3ft corridor or in the hole.
Tour standard is 6 putts in a row, meaning the last putt is from 36ft.

How good is your ability to roll the putt to a certain distance?

Measure distance with your range finder

+/- 2 feet doesn’t matter, find in general a distance in yards or meter
20 ft =7yds or 6m
30 ft = 10yds or 9m
40ft = 13yds or 12m
50ft = 17yds or 15m
60 ft = 20yds or 18m

Time: 6 min | Number of Balls: 10

3x 20ft | 4x30ft | 3x40ft
Total 10 balls
Target: Circle Around Hole with 3 ft radius
Tour standard 10 Balls inside 3 ft radius
Very good 7-8 Balls in radius

Time: 8 min | Number of Balls: 10

Let’s practice on your speed including a green read

Find putts that break. Putt back and forth between two balls which are 20ft away from each other. If both puts are in the 3ft radius. Then you will increase the gap by 10ft. Similar to the Speed Drills in the long putts section.

Breaking Putt | Start at 20ft | Target= 3ft Radius
Play 10x Putts, see if you can go from 20 | 30 | 40 | 50 | 60 feet gap.
