Session 1

Skill Development: Ability to change your impact location

Part 1 | Driver Direction

Time: 2o Minutes

Your skill to control your impact location not only helps you to hit it further for center strikes, but also helps you to hit it straight.

For the following drills, it is very important to let your body self-organize. Always use your optimal ball position and tee height that fits your individual style best.

Don’t change your Swing.

The next drills only focus on hitting certain parts on the clubface. You will see how your body will naturally gain the ability to hit these spots. Either directly in the session or after a couple of sessions. Your brain needs time to sort out the different micro movements. Focus on impact location! Don’t interfere by changing other parameters.

I repeat don’t change your swing!

Time: 10 min | Number of Balls: 10

Hit 10 balls with impact tape and see where you have hit them on the club face. Before you look on the clubface, see if you can get a feeling where you have hit and then check the impact tape if you are correct. Do this after every shot.

Time: 10 min | Number of Balls: 10

Separate the clubface into two sides Top and Bottom. Hit 5 shots on the top side and try to hit 5 shots on the bottom side of the clubface.

Within the 10 minutes you can repeat these two sets as often as you want.
