Individual order
After you have trained the four different drives you should bring them into your individual order. If you prefer a Fade, hit that Fade as often as possible. For wide and narrow holes, Bomb or Fairway Finder. Only if necessary you hit a Draw.
Different types
You have to consider your playing style
If you are really straight consider to hit “the Bomb” more often to gain distance.
If you are very inaccurate consider to hit “the Fairway Finder” more often to keep the ball in play.
Preparation before your round
Before you play, go through each hole in advance and decide what shot to play.
Example for the first 4 holes
Hole 1: You decide for a Fade
Hole 2: You decide for a Bomb
Hole 3: You decide for a Fairway Finder
Hole 4: Left Dogleg | You decide for a Fade
Go with your preferred shot
This example shows that a lot of times you can hit your preferred shot. Only go with the not preferred one if you really have to.
During your round
Stay with your strategy for a course throughout your round. Don’t change your strategy between holes. Analyze your round after you have finished.
