Session 2

Skill Development: Control or Maximum Distance

Part 1 | ‘Fairway Finder’ & ‘the Bomb’

Time: 2o Minutes

Time: 10 min | Number of Balls: 10

Imagine a narrow fairway.
You want to train your ability to hit very straight drives into a fairway. The corridor is straight and 10% of your Driving Distance. For a “170” drive the corridor is 170×10%= 17. This is applicable for both, meters and yards.
Corridor is in the middle
Your corridor is 10% of your driving distance
Outside is on both sides of the corridor.

Hit 10x shots and count how many are
in Corridor 10% (blue)
outside Corridor, also during flight (red)

Time: 10 min | Number of Balls: 10

Imagine a wide fairway.

You want to train your ability to create speed. It doesn’t matter if you hit a Draw or a Fade. Just go for maximum Distance. The corridor is straight and 20% of your Driving Distance. For a “250” drive the corridor is 250×20%= 50. This is applicable for both, meters and yards.

A wide Fairway

Your corridor is 20% of your driving distance

Doesn’t matter if Draw or Fade.
Go for full speed!

Hit 10x shots and count how many are
in Corridor 20% (blue)
land outside Corridor (red)
